Биография

Threeris Hyacinth Wijeratne was a prominent and highly respected veteran actress in Sri Lankan cinema, theatre, and television. Spanning a career of over four decades, she became widely beloved and recognized as the "Mother of the mini-screen" due to her emotional depth and frequent portrayal of maternal roles in many popular television dramas. Tragically, she passed away on July 30, 2021, at the age of 74 following a fatal road accident in Lindula, Thalawakele, while returning to Colombo after a teledrama film shoot in Nuwara Eliya.
