Bao Guowei is a third-year student at a provincial high school, who usually does not strive for progress and spends his days hanging out with the rich kids, and ends up failing several subjects in the final exams, leading the school to decide to retain him. Upon hearing this news, the old Bao is worried and sighs. Bao Guowei does not appreciate his father's hard work and feels ashamed of having such a poor father. The old Bao humbly borrows enough money for the next semester's tuition and uniform fees, but his son continues to pursue the lifestyle of the wealthy, constantly comparing himself to them. After school starts, he is incited by classmates to fight and injures someone, and recalling his frivolous behavior with a female classmate during the holidays, the school decides to expel him. The old Bao, upon hearing this, realizes that he is powerless to change the situation...
