Synopsis
Leonard Shelby is tracking down the man who raped and murdered his wife. The difficulty of locating his wife's killer, however, is compounded by the fact that he suffers from a rare, untreatable form of short-term memory loss. Although he can recall details of life before his accident, Leonard cannot remember what happened fifteen minutes ago, where he's going, or why.

Mood and atmosphere
Immerse yourself in a haunting exploration of memory and identity, where the past lingers like a shadow in the corners of a dimly lit room. This film evokes a profound sense of loneliness intertwined with fleeting hope, set against a backdrop of gritty urban landscapes and the ephemeral nature of human connection. The aesthetic is steeped in a melancholic beauty, reminiscent of late-night drives through rain-soaked streets, illuminated by neon lights. As you journey through the fragmented psyche of the protagonist, expect to grapple with themes of grief and revenge, while the haunting soundtrack echoes the emotional depth of each moment, leaving you both contemplative and unsettled long after the credits roll.
