Synopsis

Directed by Juan Ortega and set in 19th Century Victorian England, a struggling single woman of the noble class , named Juana Champion (played by actress Andrea Palma), has absolutely no marriage prospects. After finally resigning herself to becoming a Spinster or "Old Maid", she decides to go live with her very wealthy Aunt, none other than the Dutchess of Meldrum. Not long after her arrival, she quickly becomes infatuated with a charming, good-looking and talented painter named Garth, who works for her prim and proper Aunt. Although there is a mutual attraction between them from the start, Garth does not truly fall in love with Juana until he hears her sing a wonderful song called "The Rosary".
