Synopsis
Huang Xiaolong and Li Hu are two inmates sentenced to heavy prison terms who escape and return to Beijing to seek revenge on the police officer Fu Dong (Zhang Fengyi) who sent them to prison. Fu Dong's wife Sun Yan (Lü Liping) cannot bear her husband's job, which keeps him out late and makes her anxious all the time, and she asks for a divorce. Fu Dong is very troubled, but he loves his job. His colleague Zhong Xiaomei (Wu Yujun) has a crush on Fu Dong and, upon hearing that his wife wants a divorce, boldly confesses her feelings, only to be gently rejected, which makes her very sad.
