Synopsis

The year is 1918. A cavalry unit of the Red Army is heading to the Mongolian border to join up with other Red Army soldiers. Due to the betrayal of one of the Buryats, the unit is left without horses. The commander's assistant, Abdai, disguised in a festive robe, goes to his native urus to the wealthy Gamza. Thanks to a clever and bold plan, the hero brings horses to the unit.
