Synopsis
The chairman of the collective farm, Ivan Kuzmich, citing urgent work, does not let the participants of the amateur art show go to the district review. A brigade of philharmonic artists arrives in the village, but their concert is under threat of cancellation: the dancer and singer - the "star of the show" - has fallen behind the train. The club manager, Dunyasha, suggests replacing the artist with the driver Senya Perepelkin. Perepelkin's songs and dances amaze everyone present at the concert - and the touched Ivan Kuzmich lets Dunyasha and the team go to the district review.
