Synopsis

Fikret is a wealthy cotton merchant. He married his childhood sweetheart Leyla and built a happy home. The young couple's kindness touched many people around them. However, one day, things took a turn for the worse. Fikret's business failed. Yusuf, whom he had once saved from bankruptcy, refused to help him. He was acting out of resentment that Leyla had chosen Fikret over him. Fikret is an honorable man. He has been appointed guardian of the young son of his closest friend, who died in a traffic accident. The management of a large fortune has fallen to him. However, he prefers to work as a servant in Istanbul rather than touch the money. The couple builds a new life for themselves in Istanbul. But Yusuf's resentment shows no signs of abating.
