Synopsis

After the fire in her building, grandma Jo, a brave grandmother who raises her two grandchildren (Jules and Juliette, ten-year-old twins) alone, resolves to entrust them to their father, Jean-Noël, who lives comfortably with his wife and their two daughters aged thirteen and seven. The problem: Jean-Noël was unaware of the existence of these twins until now, and he especially fears the reaction of his wife, the ethereal Marie-Ange, who is recovering from depression. Pressured by grandma Jo, Jean-Noël agrees to host the two children until the insurance provides them with a new decent place to live. But to justify their presence in his home, he will have to invent a big lie... the consequences of which he is far from realizing.
