Synopsis
The small farmer Pietu Aholainen is a resourceful forest dweller who lives with his wife Iitamar in the small village of Kätkävaara. In the middle of a beautiful summer, a real troublemaker arrives, a flying brush cutter sent by the authorities to poison the fields and forests. The villagers unite against the poison sower. So does Pietu, who has his own reasons for doing so. He has just managed to buy the Ryppysuo land area from his neighbor Hurskainen, on which he plans to make a lot of money.
