Synopsis
"After working hard and earning enough to pay off the family's debts, Toni returns to his parents' place and finds everyone dead. He discovers that his relatives were exterminated by thugs led by Gregório, a gunman from the region who rents his weapons to the landowner Saldanha. Toni takes his dead to the nearest city and builds them a small cemetery. As a result of the decision he made to impose on himself the duty of revenge, he opens several graves, placing in each of them the names of the thugs from Gregório's gang. From then on, he will relentlessly pursue the murderers of his family, with the final duel between him and Gregório."

Mood and atmosphere
Immerse yourself in a hauntingly atmospheric journey that lingers long after the credits roll. This film explores themes of grief and vengeance against a backdrop of desolate landscapes and a muted color palette, evoking a profound sense of loneliness and loss. The slow pacing invites contemplation, allowing the weight of each moment to resonate deeply. As you traverse the emotional terrain of family bonds and the quest for justice, the stark reality of violence contrasts with fleeting memories of warmth and comfort. With its minimalistic yet impactful visuals, the experience feels like a somber yet beautiful reflection on the fragility of life and the haunting echoes of nostalgia in a world tinged with melancholy and darkness.
