Synopsis
Lyuba's fate was not easy. Left an orphan during the war, she dropped out of school and went to work. The man she loved left her with a daughter in her arms. Lyuba works as a waitress and meets Sergey in her free time, who does not want to marry Lyuba because of the daughter. After finishing the first grade, Lenochka, Lyuba's daughter, brings home an award for good studies, which prompts Lyuba to attend evening school. An engineer-mountaineer, Dolina, helps her with her studies, and their acquaintance awakens the best in Lyuba's soul. Thus begins their love. And when the construction ends and Dolina has to leave, Lyuba and Lenochka go with him.
