Synopsis
Szomjas György's cult film from 1981, "Kopaszkutya", tells the story of a rock band that decides to "go dog" by writing and performing songs about their own quarry environment. They create a kind of "proletrock", opposing all conventions, political limitations, and intellectual snobbery. The generation of homeless people recognized themselves in the songs, and by the end of the film, thousands were listening to and celebrating them. Hobo, Deák Bill, and Póka Egon, the main characters of "Kopaszkutya", are still on stage, which is no small feat after thirty years. These 30 years also tell a great story - the story of blues, dog life, and proletrock. "Kopaszkutya 2" follows the three main characters, peeking into their private lives, sometimes using fictional elements.
