Synopsis
This story takes place in exotic locations on the Colombian Atlantic coast. Poncho Daza, an 11-year-old boy with great talent and kind feelings, has two big dreams in life: to get an accordion and to win the heart of Sara María, the girl of his dreams, who has challenged him to become a great accordionist capable of composing a song that touches her soul. However, the economic adversities of his family demand great efforts from him and prevent him from acquiring an accordion to learn to play. His father is a macho man who humiliates him for being left-handed and for his obsession with being a musician, and he also suffers from the attacks of Pepe, another suitor of Sara María, who manages to get a beautiful accordion with which he tries to compete to win the girl. Poncho will be pushed into adulthood by the circumstances, but he was born in this land to become a legend and will be known as "the angel of the accordion."
