Synopsis
This is a special, one of the few filmed by Totò for TV shortly before his death, in which he parodies the so-called "longhairs", that is, those young emerging singers of the Sixties who, following the Beatles, had revolutionized the world of light music. Alongside his faithful "sidekick" Mario Castellani, with whom he reprises the double bass sketch, the prince of laughter duets with several singers including Patty Pravo, Mina (with whom he had already participated the year before in "Studio Uno") and the American-Lebanese Ricky Shayne, who became famous overnight with the song "Uno dei Mods". A gem of the era. The airing of the TV show was announced for the end of June 1967, but the episode was never actually broadcast at the time. Incomplete by a couple of scenes, it was recovered and aired for the first time in the late '90s on Rete 4.
