Synopsis
MORGENRØDE takes place at the beginning of a new eon, in a water polluted world years after a global fall. Where the legacy of what was, has been quenched and world understanding must take shape again. Surrounded by an endless hazy and drab, bleak desert we follow two survivors who eye each other with the same mutual depraved suspicion as they contemplate their inhospitable surroundings.

Mood and atmosphere
Immerse yourself in a hauntingly desolate world where the remnants of civilization linger in a haze of muted colors. This film evokes a profound sense of loneliness and existential reflection, perfectly suited for those seeking a contemplative journey through a bleak landscape. The atmosphere is thick with despair yet tinged with the faintest glimmers of hope, as two survivors navigate their stark reality amidst echoes of the past. The minimalist aesthetic and slow pacing invite introspection, while the haunting soundtrack resonates with feelings of isolation and survival. Ideal for a quiet evening of reflection, this experience will linger in your mind long after the credits roll.
