Synopsis

Paul is a spoiled son from a wealthy family who leads a carefree life on his father's farm in Australia. The father is worried, as Paul is supposed to take over the farm one day, but he has not learned to take responsibility. So he comes up with the idea of sending his son along with his friend Charlie on a supposed pleasure trip to Germany. In fact, he contacts his former company commander, who drafts the two young men into the military. There, they not only meet two charming girls but also learn what camaraderie and responsibility mean. In the end, they go to war with the company. Their two future wives are waiting to manage the farm in Australia with them after the war.
