Synopsis

In wars, the rape of women is considered a form of warfare, but perhaps the most brutal in this regard were the Soviet soldiers occupying Hungary. According to data from contemporary venereal disease clinics, the number of women raped in Hungary in 1945 is between fifty and two hundred thousand. Victims from that time speak out, taking on the disturbing and horrific memories. How did this humiliation affect women and society as a whole? Many still keep these events secret, and moreover, no one has been legally held accountable for what was done.
