Along with that decision comes a need to get away from her husband and from her psychiatrist, with whom she has had more than just a doctor-patient relationship. As Martha travels through a deserted city landscape in a storm, the external world reflects something of her inner turmoil. Flashbacks are interspersed throughout the film to enhance the suspense of Martha's inner and outer journey.

Mood and atmosphere
Immerse yourself in a hauntingly atmospheric journey that explores the depths of loneliness and the quest for identity amidst a stormy backdrop. This film evokes feelings of nostalgia and melancholy, as it captures the essence of a deserted urban landscape, where every raindrop seems to resonate with unfulfilled dreams and quiet despair. The visual style is imbued with warm colors juxtaposed against the coldness of isolation, creating a striking contrast that mirrors the protagonist's internal struggles. Perfect for those seeking a contemplative experience, it invites viewers to reflect on themes of freedom, self-discovery, and the bittersweet nature of love and loss, all while accompanied by a beautifully haunting soundtrack that lingers in the mind long after the credits roll.
