Synopsis

In a fishing village in southern Senegal, Mamadou completely controls the illegal traffic of cayucos and drugs destined for Europe. The only heritage of the village is an ancient Portuguese cannon that a French antique dealer and Toni, a member of an NGO who has stopped believing in the possibility of improving the world, are trying to take away. Bego, a young Spanish woman fleeing her past, arrives in the village as a volunteer for an NGO. She finds the medical dispensary completely abandoned but decides to revive it at all costs. Soon she comes into contact with Toni and Leo, a hustler son of an illegal immigrant. Together they will end up confronting Mamadou.
