Synopsis
Frank Galvin is a down-on-his-luck lawyer and reduced to drinking and ambulance chasing, when a former associate reminds him of his obligations in a medical malpractice suit by serving it to Galvin on a silver platter—all parties are willing to settle out of court. Blundering his way through the preliminaries, Galvin suddenly realizes that the case should actually go to court—to punish the guilty, to get a decent settlement for his clients... and to restore his standing as a lawyer.

Mood and atmosphere
Immerse yourself in a world where the weight of justice and personal redemption intertwine. This film evokes a profound sense of loneliness, yet sparks a flicker of hope as it unfolds within the stark, often gray landscape of the courtroom. The atmosphere is thick with tension, reminiscent of 80s legal dramas, where every moment feels like a battle against overwhelming odds. The aesthetic blends minimalism with a raw emotional intensity, inviting viewers to reflect on identity, moral dilemmas, and the pursuit of truth. Perfect for a cozy evening of introspection, it resonates with themes of resilience, the fight for justice, and the quest for personal significance amidst the chaos of life.
