Synopsis

Luca and Mattia haven't seen each other for 8 years. They are brothers but had a falling out over Annalisa, the girlfriend Mattia was about to marry but whom Luca also fell in love with. However, Annalisa did not choose either of them and surprised everyone by leaving Mattia at the altar. To distance himself and dedicate himself to his painting career, Luca emigrated to Milan, where he finds himself dealing with the maternal desires of his partner Federica. Mattia, on the other hand, stayed to work at a small agri-food company in Castel San Giorgio and, after some time, met Bice, a former classmate with whom he decides to get married. On the occasion of this, father Nicola decides to pretend to be seriously ill and writes a letter to Luca, deceitfully inviting him to return home.
