Synopsis
Shannon Whirry stars as Carrie and Terrie, a pair of twins who were separated in youth when their father murdered their mother and was in turn killed by his own bad twin daughter. Now the sweet-natured "good" sister has grown up to marry an abusive louse. Trapped in a sexless relationship, she seeks solace with a therapist (Kristine Kelly), but her problems are about to be compounded when her wicked sister arrives in town, intent on avenging herself on her double for past wrongs. Even the help of a private detective on her side may not be enough when her sister becomes allied with her own husband.

Mood and atmosphere
Immerse yourself in a haunting exploration of duality and identity, where the atmosphere is thick with tension and emotional complexity. This film evokes feelings of nostalgia and melancholy, as it navigates the intricate web of familial bonds and the scars of a troubled past. The aesthetics are deeply moody, with dimly lit interiors contrasting against moments of sharp clarity, reminiscent of classic thrillers. Ideal for a rainy evening, it invites you to reflect on themes of betrayal, revenge, and the pursuit of freedom amidst despair. The slow pacing allows for introspection, while the haunting soundtrack lingers, echoing the bittersweet nature of love and loss, making it a perfect companion for those seeking a mix of psychological depth and emotional resonance.
