Synopsis
Just after the publication of La Vie devant soi, Romain Gary has his little cousin Paul Pavlowitch embody Émile Ajar. The press, the publishers, the readers, everyone falls for it. Well, almost everyone: Adèle, a literature student at La Sorbonne, originally from Nice (where Gary spent part of his childhood), is convinced that Émile Ajar and Romain Gary are one and the same writer. She goes to find Gary on rue du Bac where he lives, to confront him. Will she denounce him? Or will the enchanter manage to draw her into his illusion?
